Medicare Certification
Our goal is to restore an individual’s health and return them to a more independent way of living. Working with the physicians, therapists, the resident, family, and other health care professionals we are able to individualize each resident’s care plan in order to treat and strengthen the resident. The Mid-Nebraska Lutheran Home is fully Medicare (www.cms.hhs.gov) so many services offered when qualifications are met are covered under either Medicare Part A or Part B.
Medicaid Certification
All beds are 100% Medicaid Certified (www.cms.hhs.gov). Our qualified staff can assist with application for Medicaid assistance when funds begin to become low. Information from our Social Service department is available on qualifying limits.
Skilled Nursing Care
Individuals often find that they are no longer able to care for themselves because of physical, emotional, or mental problems; have trouble coping with their own personal needs such as eating, bathing, using the toilet, moving around or managing their medications; or have extensive medical needs that require daily attention by an RN or need to be supervised by an MD. When this happens we are prepared to assist this person throughout their stay whether it will be short term or long term. Through accurate assessment of each resident upon admission, out staff is able to formulate a comprehensive care plan. This process allows us to closely follow the progress of the resident throughout their stay and provide the care they need.
Physical Therapy
